Nana Tinley-Klimek embarked on her journey behind the camera as a Casting Director, back when street casting meant a kitchen floor strewn with polaroids. Countless polaroids later, Nana’s background in dance and her experience in running talent nights in London’s West End led to the establishment of HeadNod Agency.
In a time when street dancers did not yet have dance agency representation, they became the foundation for HeadNod. The agency advocated for street dancers to be recognized, seen and considered by Casting Directors. Over the years, commercial dancers and other talents were added to the roster.
Fast forward to 2025, and HeadNod has consistently championed talent across various sectors of the industry, both in the UK and internationally. The agency has worked with some of the most renowned artists in the world, including but not limited to Madonna, Rihanna, Kanye, Calvin Harris, U2, Kylie, Stormzy, Britney Spears, Jack White, Ed Sheeran, and Nick Cave.
HeadNod boasts an impressive list of feature film credits, including Wicked!, StreetDance, High Strung, Cats the Movie, and James Bond. The agency has also contributed to a diverse range of live events and international touring shows, such as Jean Paul Gaultier’s Fashion Freak Show.
Brands that have featured HeadNod dancers include Apple, Levi’s, Samsung, Sony, Coca-Cola, Johnnie Walker, Guinness, Heineken, Nokia, Esprit, Guitar Hero, Dove, Nescafé, Baileys, Nike, Adidas, Vaseline, Rimmel, San Miguel, and Fifa, to name but a few.
