Saju works mainly in the field of contemporary dance and physical theatre. With more than 20 years of experience he works across genres and mediums, in commercials, music videos as well as theatre productions and site specific work.

Saju has been choreographing for several institutions and companies including site specific choreographies for
Palace Acropolis theatre (Prague)
Luftschloss Cobenzl castle (Vienna)
and
choreographic works commissioned by the Royal Opera House London’s ROH2, South Bank Centre (Dare Devas) and for the Place Theatre London.
In 2016 Saju created ‘Breaking Joint’ and in 2022 ‘The Body Recall’ both funded by the Arts Council England.

2024
– Directed a physical theatre show at the venue Amare, Den Haag, Holland for the International Day of Justice.

2023

– collaborated and created various projects, including at the Oxford University with poet Alice Oswald and the department of classics working on Gilgamesh Myth as well as site specific work at the Oxford Botanical Garden.

2019
– mentor and dramaturge for Beyond Words by Ffion Campbell and Tyron Isaac. Performed at Dance Umbrella 2019  London.
– Opera Du Rhein. Opera Until the Lion  creating war scenes using Kalarippayattu, the Keralan martial arts .
– Fluid Boundaries | director |  London Festival of Architecture (London)

2018
– created and directed Stillness is Monochrome?  An evening of dance, calligraphy and live music, performed at Luftschloss Cobenzl castle in Vienna.

2017
– Flyfrom a 30 minutes solo for Morph dance company. Premiered at Leicester Curve Theatre
– Created Ordinary stranger a full length dance work as a part of UK Korea exchange performed at Dance Umbrella 2017 , with dance artists Dickson MBI(UK) and Kyong shin-Kim(Korea)
– Co created and performed in Just like that  in New York, Harlem stage  at E-moves festival. A collaboration with Parijat Desai Dance company USA
– Directed Disha International Dance Workshop Festival in Cochin, Kerala, India.

2016
– Created Mat-X a 15 minutes dance duet at Divaldo Na Cucky in Chech Republic
– New group work Breaking Joints | Richmix, London (supported by The Arts Council UK)
– created a 20minutes choreography for the Conservatoire of dance in Vienna, Austria.

2015
– created closing night public performance at Zero point festival, Prague

2014
– Created a Site specific work at Palac Akropolis  theatre, Prague in collaboration with Spitfire company

2013
– Vice Versa  commissioned in Finland – a choreographic collaboration with Saku Koistinen

2012
– Cultural Olympiad project in the west midlands, UK called moving earth  a site specific dance ,undertaken by Sampad  with the help of Birmingham city council. Co-choreographed 150 dancers from across the region performed in Victoria square in Birmingham city centre.

2010
– Created The Program  for place prize choreography competition, Semi finalist.
